2007-08:  Very quick on the ice … has a strong work ethic … plays ice hockey with a winning attitude … her speed will be used to keep opposing teams working hard during line changes.

2006-07: Played in all 24 games for Saint Benedict … recorded three goals and six assists for a total of nine points.

2005-06: Made an immediate impact on the Saint Benedict ice hockey team … scored eight goals, which ranked second on the team … tallied five assists during the season … compiled 13 points which ranked second on the team … scored a goal in her first collegiate ice hockey game against Finlandia (Nov. 4, 2005) … scored four goals and had one assist in the 10-1 victory over Concordia-Moorhead (Nov. 20, 2005) … put together another two point game when she accumulated one goal and one assist in the 5-2 victory over Hamline (Dec. 2, 2005).

High School: A 2005 graduate of Cretin Derham Hall, King was coached by Jeff Keys … participated in ice hockey (four years), tennis (one year) and soccer (one year) during her athletic career at Cretin Durham Hall … was a three year member of the ultimate Frisbee club team that was the state champion in 2004 and 2005 … awarded Cretin Derham Hall’s Hobey Baker character award … member of the Cretin Derham Hall team who participanted in the Minnesota hockey state tournament in 2005.

Personal: Daughter of Mary and Mike King of St. Paul, Minn.  ... enjoys ultimate frisbee, hockey and spending time with family and friends … majoring in mathematics.

Proudest moment in her ice hockey career: “Participating in the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament.”

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? “I feel like I belong to something, and that I am a role model for others.”
