2006-07: Played in 14 games for the Blazers … posted four assists and one goal for a total of five points … scored a power play goal in the Blazers’ 4-2 loss against Augsburg (Feb. 2, 2007).

2005-06: Played in all 23 games for Saint Benedict … collected four total points off one goal and three assists … her lone goal of the season came against Bethel (Jan. 27, 2006).

High School: A 2004 graduate of Woodbury High School, Kinney was coached by Bill Driscoll ... participated in ice hockey (four years), soccer (four years) and cross country skiing (one year) during her athletic career at North American ... assistant captain her senior year.

Personal: Daughter of Clara and Robert Kinney of Woodbury, Minn. ... enjoys rugby and hockey ... also competes on the CSB Rugby club team … majoring in history with a minor in sports medicine.

Proudest moment in her ice hockey career: “Competing at the North American Hockey Academy.”

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? “I like being able to take a break from an intense academic schedule and be able to compete in something I love.”
