
2007-08: Strong player with good skating abilities … very experienced player who comes from a winning high school program … will gain valuable experience on the ice this winter.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Elk River High School, Reinking was coached by Joe Heasley … participated in ice hockey (six years), softball (three years) and volleyball (one year) during her athletic career at Elk River High School … member of the Elk River girls ice hokey team that were State Class-2A champions in 2003-04 … captained her ice hockey team as a senior … was a two-time All-Northwest Suburban Conference honorable mention.
Personal: Daughter of Robin and Wayne Reinking of Maple Grove, Minn. … enjoys playing sports, spending time with family and friends, and visiting her family’s cabin.
Proudest moment in her ice hockey career: “Learning how to become a team player on the ice as well as a team leader.”
What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? “I like the sense of belonging to a team and knowing that whenever you play you’re representing you school and team.”
