
2007-08: An accomplished high school player who will learn even more at the collegiate level this winter great skater who is highly effective at moving the puck will help the Blazer offensive attack this winter.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Rochester Lourdes High School, Leyendecker was coached Steve Russell and John Gamble participated in ice hockey (four years), softball (four years) and volleyball (one year) during her athletic career at Rochester Lourdes high school three-time All Big 9 Conference selection in ice hockey and softball four-time letter winner in ice hockey and softball team MVP in ice hockey and softball Herb Brooks Award nominee and Hobey Baker Award recipient member of the Rochester Lourdes-Mayo girls hockey team that were two-time Big 9 conference champions, Section 1-2A champions and State participants in 2005 and 2006.
Personal: Daughter of Mary and Denis Leyendecker of Rochester, Minn. enjoys camping, rollerblading, and spending time with family and friends majoring in nursing.
Proudest moment in her ice hockey career: Playing for three different teams during my high school career. It was difficult, but I was able to learn a lot about hockey and meet a lot of great players.
What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? I love the fact that I can take my game to the next level and play at whole different pace and competitiveness.
