2007-08: Impact athlete on the ice … possesses great communication skills, which she uses to help her teammates on the ice … skates well and looks to set up scoring opportunities on every possession.

2006-07: Played in 23 games for the Blazers … recorded two goals and two assists during the season … one of her goals was a game-tying goal.

2005-06: Compiled an impressive season for Saint Benedict … accumulated 10 points, which ranked fourth on the team … tallied four goals and six assists on the season … scored the game winning goal in the 5-3 victory over Hamline (Dec. 2, 2005) … showed discipline on the ice by only committing four penalties … had one goal and one assist in the 10-1 victory over Concordia-Moorhead (Nov. 20, 2005). 

High School: A 2005 graduate of Eagan High School, Selby was coached by Scott Darwits … participated in ice hockey (four years), soccer (three years) and lacrosse (three years) during her athletic career at Eagan … was an All-Lake Conference honorable mention in hockey. 

Personal: Daughter of Diane and Mark Selby of Eagan, Minn. … enjoys snowboarding, lacrosse, rollerblading, soccer, playing guitar and drums, spending time with family and friends, writing, and producing movies … involved with S.A.A.C. as a representative of the CSB ice hockey team … also competes of the CSB Lacrosse Club team … one of her movies was awarded first place in the Minnesota South Metro film festival … majoring in psychology with a minor in coaching.

Proudest moment in her ice hockey career: “I’m proud that hockey has taught me to be a good player, but also a good person.”

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? “I like the fact that you are competing with people who love the game and also have a passion for academics.”
