2007-08: Executes plays well … attacks the net with consistency … knows how to get her teammates involved on the ice … constantly looking to take advantage of scoring opportunities … will be a solid contributor to the Blazer offensive attack.

2006-07: Appeared in 24 games for the Blazers … posted one goal and two assists during the year … scored a goal in the Blazers’ 8-3 loss to St. Thomas (Jan. 27, 2007).

2005-06: Had a solid first season for the Blazer ice hockey team … proved to be one of the primary contributors on offence by passing out five assists and scoring four goals during the year … her nine points were tied for fifth on the team … scored a goal and tallied an assist in her first collegiate game against Finlandia (Nov. 4, 2005) … her first collegiate goal sparked a three game goal streak when she added goals against Finlandia (Nov. 5, 2005) and Concordia Moorhead (Nov. 19, 2005) … scored a power play goal in the 6-2 victory over St. Catherine (Feb. 17, 2005). 

High School: A 2005 graduate of Maple Grove high school, Milton was coached by Jim Koltes … participated in ice hockey (five years) and softball (three years) during her athletic career at Maple Grove … received Maple Grove’s Hobey Baker character award her senior year … named most improved player her sophomore year … was an All-Northwest Suburban Conference honorable mention her junior year … named to the All-Northwest Suburban Conference hockey team her senior year.  

Personal: Daughter of Bonnie and Tom Milton of Maple Grove, Minn. ... enjoys playing sports, spending time with friends, and being with family ... proudest moment of her ice hockey career was making the Blazer ice hockey team and accounting for nine points during the season … majoring in nutritional science with a minor in sports medicine and coaching.

Proudest moment in her ice hockey career: “Making the Blazer ice hockey team and scoring nine points as a first year.”

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? “I like being a student-athlete because I can be a part of a team and play the sport I love while going to school.”
