1993-1994 Season Review

Head coach Theresa Solarz hopes that one step backwards will mean two steps forward as the Blazer golf team looks ahead to the 1994 season. CSB finished in fourth place in the MIAC after coming in third place a year ago. The Blazers showed steady improvement throughout the season as three first-year golfers, four sophomores and one junior improved with each match.

During the spring portion of the season, CSB finished strong in the Minnesota Collegiate Women’s State Meet with a sixth place among a field of 10 teams.

With the prospect of returning a young team (no seniors) that gained valuable experience, Solarz expects a much improved team next fall.
