Day two of the Minnesota Women’s Golf Assoc. meet ended with the Blazers finishing in fifth place with a two day team total of 681. “This is the lowest we have shot all year. We played pretty well and consistently” commented coach Michaud.
Junior, Ann Dressen (Alexandria, Minn./Jefferson) led the Blazers with a two day score of 167 giving her a 14th place finish overall. First-year Sarah Huppers (North Oaks, Minn./Mounds View) continued to be consistent and finished with an overall total of 168 which gave her a 16th place finish. Finishing with a total of 170 was sophomore April Dammann (Glencoe, Minn./Glencoe-Silver Lake) which put her at 20th place overall. Sophomore Teresa Walch finished with a two day total of 176, while junior Emily Olson (Baxter, Minn./Brainerd) finished with a two day total of 185.
