2006-2007: Selected to MIAC All-Defensive Team ... selected All-MIAC honorable mention ... voted CSB's Most Improved Player ... appeared in all 28 games, started in 16 of them ... averaged 20.4 minutes per game ... recorded 93 steals and averaged 3.2 steals per game (ranked 31st in the nation, led MIAC) ... totaled four or more steals in 13 games ... finished four games with six or more steals ... grabbed 93 boards, averaging 3.4 rebounds per game (third for CSB in both) ... pulled down six rebounds on six occasions ... averaged 1.6 assists per game as she dished out 45 for the season (third for CSB in both) ... passed for three or more assists five times ... shot .446 from the field (third for CSB) ... made 70 field goals (fourth for CSB) ... scored 188 total points and averaged 6.7 points per game (fifth for CSB) ... scored in double figures five times ... recorded two double-doubles ... on Dec. 6, 2006 at home against Gustavus, O'Neil grabbed eight steals to tie the second most steals ever recorded by a Blazer in a single game ... 10 weeks later, when the Gusties returned to Claire Lynch, O'Neil tied her career-high steal count with eight in that game as well; she as recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds in the game ... on Jan. 24, 2007 at Carleton, she tied second place for the most three-point field goals made in a single game by a Blazer with six made three-pointers; O'Neil was 6-7 from behind the arc as she finished with 20 points.
2005-2006: Appeared in 19 games averaging
6.8 minutes per game ... scored 52 points and averaged 2.7 points per game ... had 16 steals and grabbed two or more in six games ... collected 26 rebounds averaging 1.4 rebounds per game ... had 13 assists ... her biggest game of the year came at home against Macalester (Feb. 8, 2006) when she scored 11 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, had two assists and two steals.
2004-2005: Played in seven varsity games for Saint Ben's last season ... collected 12 points at the varsity level ... built up her basketball skill by playing junior varsity ... shot .364 from the field ... had five assists and 10 rebounds.
High School: A 2004 graduate of Waseca High School, O’Neil was coached by Clint Link … participated in basketball (four years), tennis (four years) and softball (four years) during her athletic career at Waseca high School … South Central All-Conference (2003, 2004) … All-State selection … team MVP (2004).
Personal: Daughter of Judy and Mike O’Neil of Waseca, Minn. … enjoys being with friends and watching T.V. … majoring in biology.
Proudest moment in her basketball career: “Playing basketball for the Blazers.”
What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? “I like the opportunity to achieve in the classroom and on the court as well, which is a nice combination.”
