Junior ... 5-11 ... Wing ... Breckenridge (Breckenridge)

2004-2005: Quick release … excellent shooter … can score inside the lane or outside the arc … solid rebounder … runs the floor.

2003-2004: Played in all 26 games … scored a season-best 15 points against Hamline (Dec. 6, 2004), also scored 14 points against St. Olaf (Feb. 4, 2004) … logged three games of four or more rebounds … was 24-51 on three point field goals for a percentage of .471 … was 3-4 on three pointers against Hamline (Dec. 6, 2004).

2002-2003: Was red-shirted by NCAA Division II North Dakota State University.

High School: A 2002 graduate of Breckenridge High School, Richels was coached by Tim Mayclin … played basketball for four years … also participated in volleyball and track and field … Heart O’Lakes All-Conference (1999, 2002, 2001, 2002) … All-Section (1999, 2000, 2001, 2002) … scored over 1,000 points … National Honors Society … attended a Blazer basketball team camp before her senior season.

Personal: Daughter of Cindy and Tom Richels of Breckenridge … her sister, Lindsey (’02), is a CSB graduate … enjoys rollerblading and swimming … majoring in social work.

Why did you decide to attend CSB? I came to CSB because of the academic reputation and the community feeling.
