A 2005 graduate of Edina High School, Tauer was coached by Jenny Johnson ... participated in varsity basketball (four years) and track and field (three years) during her athletic career at Edina ...named All-Conference her junior and senior seasons ... member of the All-Star team ... served as team captain for two years ... given All-State Honorable Mention honors ... voted Most Improved Player and team MVP... recipient of the Leadership Award ...named to Academic All-State team ... received All-Conference track and field honors in 2003 ... captained the Edina track and field team her senior year.
