1990-1991 Season Review

The Blazer basketball team (20-7) overall, 14-6 MIAC0 continued to establish itself as one of the top basketball programs in the nation again in 1990-91.  CSB finished with their forth straight season of 20 wins or more and returned to the NCAA Regional Tournament for the third consecutive year.  The Blazers were defeated in the first round of the Regionals by eventual national champions, St. Thomas University.  After beginning the season in Colorado the team went on to win 11 straight games.

Nationally, CSB was sixth in made three-point field goals (4.3 pg), seventh in three point field goal percentage (.377), eighth in rebound margin 11.7 pg) and 13th in field goal percentage (.460).  Head coach Mike Durbin went over the century mark in career victories this year.
