1974-1975 Season Review

The basketball team decided they would like their colors to be red and white and that they did not want to be called the "Bennies", so they developed a contest to find a new nickname.  The contest consisted of CSB students submitting ideas for a new nickname and CSB student-athletes selecting the one they liked the best.  After reading the entries, the athletes finally chose the "Blazers" as their official name in the spring.  Tennis began intercollegiate play in the spring led by Dick Schroeder.
