1972-1973 Season Review

Carol Agnes hired as "recreation coordinator" in October.  A group of CSB students decided that they wanted to organize a team and play 5-person basketball.  With Carol Agnes as coach, they created a schedule, which included games against other schools, they had t-shirts made and they held practices and games in the basement of Murray Hall.  This marked the first year that basketball was an intercollegiate sport at CSB.  Student Development and the Student Council covered the team's expenses.  The team was affiliated with the MAIAW (Minnesota Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women).
