Blazers to Play Carleton, Knights Sponsor Food Drive

On Monday, Dec. 3, the College of Saint Benedict basketball team (1-0 MIAC, 2-1 overall) will travel to Northfield, Minn. to take on MIAC rival Carleton College. The 7:30 p.m. game in West Gym will feature two of the conference's top teams and benefit the local community as well.
Admission to the highly anticipated game is free with a suggested donation of two canned food items or other non-perishable food items. All food collected will support food bank organizations in the Northfield area.
The contest should prove to be one of the best of the regular season as the Blazers were selected as the favorite in the MIAC pre-season coaches' poll. The Carleton Knights were right behind at No. 2.
