Hello fellow Bennies, my name is Jenny Schwope, a first-year student and a Political Science/Management double major. I am running for the position of Club Auditor for the St. Ben’s Senate. The opportunities are endless for all of us at the College of St. Benedict and by running for Club Auditor I know that it will be a great experience and give me a real chance to make a significant difference on campus. I love everything about St. Ben’s – the history, the tradition, the community, the fantastic group of women – by serving as Club Auditor I would be able to be an even greater part of that, and help to make all of our experiences even more memorable.
If elected, I would take on the full responsibility of the position and dedicate myself to do the best performance for my peers. I am a hard-worker, excellent communicator and apply myself in the fullest respect. As Club Auditor, I could provide valuable insight and ensure that money is being allocated appropriately. In addition, it is a great way to be involved with all of the clubs and activities on campus, and allow me to have an effective voice for the students.
I am always looking for new opportunities to gain experience, while still continuing to help others as well. My previous experiences would help me serve as a successful Club Auditor; I currently work for the CSB Annual Giving Program and I have put a lot of time into working for the Annual Fund because I strongly believe in the cause and helping all of us to get the best liberal arts education possible by helping to ensure that we receive the monetary support we need. In high school I served as the Secretary/Treasurer for the National Honors Society and was the Treasurer for our high school concert and jazz bands and I was also the captain of my dance team and cheerleading squads.
I am an organized, professional, committed, and qualified candidate for this position and I would love to be a part of the St. Ben’s Senate as the Club Auditor and I know that I will represent you well.
Thank you for taking the time to read my platform and voting for Senate. I would appreciate your support!
