Welcome to the Sophomore Year at the College of Saint Benedict

Event Coming Up:

Room Selection 2008! 

Important Dates:

March 6 –     Advance payment due by 3:30 pm to the Student Accounts Office (Main 2nd Floor)

You need to pay your advanced payment in order to participate in room selection.  If you plan to not live on campus next year you will only need to pay $100 instead of $200. 

March 6 –     Pre-selection, Intentional Community, and Senior Majority Registration Forms Due by 4 pm. Request for housing due to medical need and appeals for sophomore residency requirement also due.

If you wish to apply for pre-selected housing (the campus houses or the 6 person apartments) you will need to do so by March 6^th.  If you would like to form an intentional living community you must submit your application by March 6^th 

March 11 –   Mock Room Selection Program for First Year and Transfer Students 

March 26 –   Room Selection for Rising Juniors and Remaining Rising Seniors

 

Lil Sibs Weekend: 7th-9th

Do you have a Sibling who wants to check out your where you live during the year?

· Magician on Saturday March 8th

· Bee Movie Friday 7th & Saturday 8th @ night!

· Bee crafts on Saturday and…

· Mad Chad the Chainsaw juggler

· Pancake Breakfast: Sunday 9th, Margretta LL for all Sophomore Area  at  10 am.  Bring yourself and your “Lil Sibs”

Spring Break: 14th-23rd 

Helpful Reminders:

If you will be staying on campus for all or part of Spring Break you will need to request to stay on the residential life website: http://www.csbsju.edu/csbreslife/ 

Please Remember To: unplug all of the things in your room, throw away your trash (especially food that will spoil), close your windows, turn your heat down to 65, turn off your lights, and lock your door when you leave for Spring Break.

 

1^st Annual Sophomore Formal Half-way There Dinner

Save the Date:  Friday, April 11^th at 6:30 in Gorecki 204

As Bon Jovi says, “Whoa, [your] half way there…”.  Come and celebrate being 50% done with college.

Registration Table will be located in Gorecki one week prior to the event.  Registration costs can be covered with flex or charge.
