Kim Poganski

Kim Poganski started working at the College of Saint Benedict in 2005 as the director of events and conferences.  She is responsible for coordinating the meetings, banquets, and conferences that occur on the College of Saint Benedict campus.

Kim strives to provide a "one-stop shop" service to internal and external customers.  In conjunction with CSB culinary services, she aims to increase the efficiency of events planning process.  Her goal is to end the multi-step planning process by enabling all room reservations, meal planning, and media requests to be made through a single employee.

Prior to coming to the College of Saint Benedict, Kim was the director of sales at the holiday inn hotel & suites in Saint Cloud for 15 years.  There, she marketed the amenities and services of the hotel while leading and developing a sales team to reach sales goals for the success of the hotel.

Kim attended Saint Cloud State University and continued her education with the institute of hospitality Association.  She is a certified in sales and marketing.  

Outside of the College of Saint Benedict, Kim has been very active in the community.  She has served as chair of the Saint Cloud area chamber of commerce board of directors, chair for the convention and visitor bureau committee, and president of the Westside Sertoma Club.
