Doris Gangl

Doris Gangl, purchasing coordinator, began at the College of Saint Benedict in 1978. She oversees the duplicating department, mailroom, and purchases of office supplies and small furniture.

 In 1999, Doris was promoted to purchasing coordinator.  She has also worked as duplicating manager and was responsible for managing the College’s incoming, outgoing, and intercampus mail.  Her career at the college began when, as a mother of four, education became a top priority.  Previously, Doris worked as an office and personnel manager in retail sales.

Doris has received the women in management certification at the College of Saint Benedict.  She has consistently taken other classes to further her education.

Outside the College, Doris served as a religion teacher for Saint Joseph’s Parish in Waite Park for many years.  When her children were young, she was very involved in their extracurricular activities.  She now enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, golfing, reading, playing cards, and is a certified SCUBA driver.
