Requests for catered events must be placed a minimum of two weeks in advance. Special requests such as atypical menu requests, Saturday evening events, and large groups (50+) require more time.
All food and beverage items must be purchased through College of Saint Benedict Catering or Events and Conferencing. Outside food or beverages will not be permitted without prior written permission from the director of culinary services.
Final group size must be submitted 72 business hours in advance. Confirming numbers at the earliest possible time ensures the best service and selection for your guests. In the interest of customer service and hospitality we will make our best effort to accomodate last-minute needs.
CSB Catering will prepare to serve 5 percent over your confirmed number (to a maximum of 10) Billing will be calculated by the confirmed number of guests or the actual number served, whichever is greater. Charges are based on the number of guests served, not by the quantity of food. All food and beverage is the property of the College of Saint Benedict Catering Department. Food may not be removed from the premises due to health and safety concerns.
Selection of an appropriate entrée for your vegetarian guests is highly recommended.
Because our facilities and services are in high demand, we ask that all cancellations be made within a reasonable time in order to welcome as many guests as possible. Cancellations must be made a minimum 48 hours prior to the event. Events cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be subject to any set up charges or other costs already incurred.
The College of Saint Benedict Catering and Events and Conferences Departments reserve the right to make room changes, as necessary, to better serve the needs of all our customers.
