Yoga

    

Come discover the wonderful benefits of yoga! Yoga, often defined as a yoking or union of mind, body, and spirit, is far more then a form of exercise- it is a way of life. This class will help you learn how to relax and tone your body while also encouraging you to observe and become more aware of your breath. The postures practiced in class will work systematically through all muscle groups taking into account each persons abilities and experience. The class is open to all levels.

  • Classes are offered to students on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7-8pm in the areobics studio.
  • Classes fill on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Classes offered by this department are for current CSB/SJU students only. Faculty and staff interested in taking yoga classes should contact Shelly Athmann at sathmann@csbsju.edu.  The Health at Work committee sponsors classes for staff and faculty.
