Gifts of $25,000

A gift of $25,000 establishes a named scholarship endowment. This fitting tribute is a meaningful way to honor someone important to you. It also provides a lasting legacy for generations of students.

Annually, a $25,000 endowment provides $1,250 for scholarships.

For a list of scholarship endowments you'd like to help build, review 2007 Scholarship Endowments of the College of Saint Benedict.

Endowed Scholarships

Ensuring access, affordability and diversity

Providing a high quality education to young women, regardless of income or background, was the heart of the matter for our Benedictine founders, and it remains our highest priority.

Today, more than 90% of students at the College of Saint Benedict receive some form of aid. Increased scholarship and financial aid endowment will ensure that great students can continue to afford the cost of attendance through:

  • Need-Based Financial Aid to ensure access and opportunity for low to middle-income students
  • Merit-Based Scholarships to attract students with outstanding academic and leadership promise
  • Geographic Scholarships to recruit students from around the country and the world
  • Diversity Scholarships to increase the cultural, racial and ethnic diversity of our student body

Help inspire and transform our leaders of tomorrow with scholarship support through an outright gift, annual contributions, or planned giving (such as will provisions, real estate, life insurance, or trusts).
