What is the CSB Phonathon?

It is a dynamic team of Bennies working together for a great cause!

The College of Saint Benedict Annual Giving Office is responsible for raising funds from alumnae, parents, and friends of the college, which provide funding for student scholarships, faculty recruitment, library materials, and the college’s operating budget.  The CSB Phonathon team is an essential part of the Annual Giving Office, and is responsible for building and strengthening the relationship between the College of Saint Benedict and its constituents.  The financial support of donors enables the College of Saint Benedict to continue its legacy of providing a quality women’s education.

The CSB Phonathon calls from September until May, Monday through Thursday evenings and one Saturday a month.

Why join the team?

You believe in the College of Saint Benedict and want to help keep the college strong.  You realize that helping raise support for the CSB Annual Giving Program also helps you.  Tuition at CSB would cost each student $3,000 more per year if not for the Annual Giving Program.

As a member of the CSB Phonathon Team you will: 

•  Increase your knowledge of CSB and gain personal satisfaction helping the college raise money that directly benefits students;
• Enhance your resume as you learn valuable fundraising, marketing, and public relations skills;
• Improve your verbal communication skills and learn how to think on your feet; and
• Build relationships with alumnae, parents, and friends of the college.
