Minneapolis (February 6, 2009) – The national litigation firm Foley & Mansfield, PLLP, has named College of St. Benedict graduate Heather H. Neubauer (’99) a partner. Neubauer is located in the firm’s Minneapolis office.
Neubauer focuses her litigation practice on products liability, mass toxic torts, and personal injury, with an emphasis on high-risk asbestos and benzene cases in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Nebraska. She has represented contractors, manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers in various product liability cases. She acts as national counsel for a large roofing and siding company. She also works on matters involving construction defects, employment law, general civil litigation and appeals. Neubauer is a qualified civil neutral mediator and arbitrator under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice. She has been the Civil Litigation liaison to the New Lawyer’s Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. Neubauer works in Foley & Mansfield’s Pro Bono Services group assisting low-income clients with adoptions and assists nonprofit organizations with commercial law disputes through the Volunteer Lawyers Network. Neubauer is a member of the Hennepin County Bar Association and Defense Research Institute. She received her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law.
