All students are required to have a health insurance policy in place while attending CSB. Since the Affordable Care Act requires domestic students to have health insurance coverage, domestic students no longer need to provide the company name and policy number of their health insurance. If you need coverage, you can request to purchase coverage from the company the college provides access to in the Forms Portal.
International Students will be enrolled in the coverage the College's agent provides. If International Students have other comparable health insurance coverage, they can have the College's coverage removed and the health insurance premium refunded from their student account by providing the health insurance company name and policy number in the Forms Portal. You must submit proof of coverage prior to the end of the first week of classes.
International Students are required to have a health insurance policy in force while attending the College of Saint Benedict. All International Students will be enrolled in and billed for the Student Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan from Student Assurance Services (SAS) unless the student carries comparable insurance and submits the waiver via this survey by the deadline date. International Students who do not complete the Verification of Health Insurance in the Forms Portal by the deadline will be billed the full amount of the annual SAS premium.
Includes Intercollegiate athlete coverage
Those students participating in intercollegiate sports must have their insurance information submitted by their designated due date (please refer to the CSB Athletic Training website for due dates).
If you would like to purchase health insurance through the college, please see the Insurance Information.
Please remember to request or submit your health insurance information in the Forms Portal.
