Room Selection

Room Selection is the process through which returning students select housing for the next academic year.  There are many parts to room selection including Pre-Selection, Senior Majority Selection, Suite Selection and regular Room Selection. Students can also apply for Intentional Living Community and special conditions. Students are encouraged to review the Room Selection policy and procedures sent to them via email, listed on our websites andby attending information sessions.

Summer Housing at CSB

CSB and SJU students can apply to live on the St. Ben’s campus for the 2018 summer. Information on housing choices, costs and registration deadlines can be found on our CSB Summer Housing page.

Break Information 2017-2018 Calendar

All CSB Residence Halls close during break periods as outlined in the Campus Housing Agreement. We hope that you will take these opportunities during the year travel, go home or to visit friends or relatives away from campus during break periods. If you have friends who are from out of state or who are international students, we encourage you to extend an invitation to travel or come home with you during breaks.  Please remember, during break periods the halls are closed and campus services are very limited.  Access to food service is limited or not available at times during breaks and other amenities are not available as well.

The Residence Halls are closed for breaks during the following periods:

Thanksgiving Break  

Nov. 21 (8 p.m.) - Nov. 26, 2017 (9 a.m.)

Semester Break

Dec. 19 (8 p.m.) - Jan. 14, 2018 (9 a.m.)

Spring Break

Mar. 2   (8 p.m.) - Mar. 11, 2018 (9 a.m.)

Easter Break

Mar. 29 (8 p.m.) - April 2 2018 (9 a.m.)

Summer Break

May 11, 2018 (6 p.m.)

Reporting Lost Room Keys

Students who have​ lost their room, apartment or campus house key issued to them at move in, should contact Residential Life & Housing to obtain a new key. As stated in the CSB Housing Agreement, the "Resident agrees to report lost keys within 24 hours of the loss".
