First-Year Care Package Program

Beginning in 2015, the CSB Alumnae Association began the First-Year Care Package Program. This program gives alumnae the chance to send a care package to first-year students the week of Valentine's Day. We refer to these packages "Bennietine's".

The First-Year Care Package Process

• In mid-November the alumnae relations office reaches out via email to alumnae requesting their participation.
• Alumnae are prompted to complete a short online questionnaire.
• The alumnae relations team uses the quesitonnaire to match alumnae with one, or as many as ten, first year students depending on how many packages alumnae sign up for. It is a goal to try to match alumnae with first-year students with whom they share a connection – similar interests, major, hometown or first-year dorm.
