The counseling and psychological services clinicians see approximately 200-240 CSB students (10-12% of the CSB student body) per year for counseling. In general, these students are a reflection of the general student body at CSB.
The counseling and psychological services clinicians see approximately 100-120 SJU undergraduate students (5-7% of the SJU undergraduate student body) and 15-25 graduate students (School of Theology) per year for counseling.
As the tables below illustrate, students from all classes utilize counseling at approximately the same level. In addition, high achieving students (GPA above 3.0 GPA) seek help more frequently than lower achieving ones (below 2.5 GPA), and most students are "self-referred," meaning that they voluntarily decide to seek counseling to address their concerns.
