Resource Information

Recognizing Distressed Students

Faculty and staff may find the Recognizing Distressed Students pamphlet helpful in referring students to counseling. To obtain a pamphlet, please contact Barb at CSB (363-5605) or Leslie at SJU (363-3236).

Self Help Materials

Students often receive pamphlets or other self-help material from their clinician. All students are welcome to stop by the Counseling and Health Promotion office at either CSB (Lower Level, ASB 104) or SJU (Mary Hall 10) for materials. There are numerous topics available. If you would like to use one to take that first step to counseling help, please stop by.

Also available to students are over 70 books and tapes covering topics such as anorexia and bulimia, academic success, healthy relationships, alcohol issues, rape, assault, and self-esteem.

Links to self help resources are not intended to replace one to one counseling sessions but may be a resource of information on various topics.
