ULTRA-VIOLET/VISIBLE SPECTROPHOTOMETRY (UV-Vis)

Another important instrument for quantitative analysis is UV-Vis. The Chemistry Department has two HP-8452 Diode Array Spectrophotometers that are used in the first-year program, as well as in our advanced courses.
