2008 Winter Tour with SJU Men's Chorus
The Chamber Choir and Men's Chorus are taking an exciting weekend tour to share wonderful music with audiences in Manitowoc, Lansing, Chicago, and Collegeville. Chamber Choir repertoire includes music by Minnesota composers Anne Kilstofte and Stephen Paulus, as well as Eric Whitacre, Steve Schuch, Jan Sweelinck, John Tavener, and others. 2007 Spring Tour
This spring, the Chamber Choir invites you to join us for a fabulous series of concerts on the road. As we tour Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, hear us perform a program of two parts: the first is sacred choral music including Gregorian Chant, Negro spirituals, and modern choral masterworks. The second part is music from countries around the globe, including Brazil, Uganda, Jamaica, England, and South Africa. To see the full program, check the 2007 Tour Program page.

The Three Hermits
As Saint John's University celebrates 150 years in Minnesota, the CSB/SJU Music Department is happy to present The Three Hermits, a beautiful opera by celebrated Minnesota composer Stephen Paulus. Based on a Leo Tolstoy story about a bishop's encounter with three hermits, the story is sure to imbue feelings of calm, comfort, and peace. The score's unique harmonies and simplistic ensemble lines create a sense of religiosity and meditation on the goodness of God's providence. Chamber Choir Recordings
The Chamber Choir does produce live recordings of concert tour programs. Currently, a CD recording from our 2001 Midwest Tour is available in the CSB/SJU Bookstores.
