An overview of the origin, development and cultural aspects of Christian worship rooted in symbols, myths and rituals. The church's celebration of the mystery of Christ in word and sacrament. The meaning and rhythm of Sunday, feasts and seasons.

 

351 Initiation and Eucharist. (4)

The rites of initiation (baptism, confirmation and first Eucharist) and the Eucharist as the primary sacraments in the church: their anthropological foundations, historical evolution, contemporary forms and pastoral effectiveness.

 

359 Topics in Liturgical Studies. (4)
