Assessment

The theology department assessment plan includes a schedule for periodic assessment of six goals according to particular strategies. Goals include “Students will understand the major elements of the Biblical story” and “Majors will provide leadership and service to the church and society”. Strategies include: a diagnostic instrument to evaluate the effectiveness of THEO 180; collecting and assessing random samples of students’ papers and course exams and syllabi. After data is collected, the department meets to assess the need to make changes.
