HDTV Channels available on the CSB/SJU Cable TV System

If you have a TV capable of receiving high definition TV channels you will be interested to know that there are four high definition channels available on the CSB/SJU cable TV system.  The channels are 4 (CBS), 5 (ABC), 9 (FOX) and 11 (NBC).  To receive these channels do an auto scan of your TV and they should appear in your channel lineup.

 

2009 Digital TV Transition and CSB/SJU cable TV service

On June 12, 2009, analog television stations will shut down their analog transmitters and transition to only Digital Television (DTV) broadcasting.  The DTV transition applies only to broadcast TV signals received over the air with an antenna and will have no impact on services offered on the CSB/SJU cable TV system.  The DTV transistion will not affect the CSB/SJU cable system in any way. You will not need to change or update your TV equipment in order to continue to receive the CSB/SJU cable service you have today.
