13 Laboratory-Specific Standard Operating Procedures

If this chemical hygiene plan does not address special laboratory-specific chemical use and procedures, a Laboratory-Specific Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) must be defined. An information gathering form is found in Appendix E. This form should be submitted to the Biology Safety Committee so that these Laboratory-Specific SOPs can be included in the chemical hygiene plan. The full text of these SOPs will be included in Appendix F, or can be obtained from the referenced Project Director, or from the Biology Laboratory Safety Officer, Dr. Ellen Jensen. Safety information must be included in each SOP.
