Education: B.A. in Biology from St. Olaf College; Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from Washington University, St. Louis, MO.

Research interests: DNA repair in baker's yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), mechanisms of maintenance of genomic stability, and mechanisms of transcriptional control in eukaryotes.
