Education: B.S. in Biology from Pennsylvania State University, 1986; M.S. in physiology from Pennsylvania State University, 1989; Ph.D. in Physiology from Pennsylvania State University; Postdoctoral fellow in diabetes and hormone action at the University of Virginia.
Research interests: Vascular biology of endothelial cells. Specific interest on cell signaling pathways regulating endothelial cell permeability.
Courses taught: Human Anatomy and Physiology, Introduction to Cell Biology and Genetics, Concepts of Biology, Human Biology, Principles of Anatomy and Physiology
