Research Interests: Terrestrial plant ecology, ecology and evolution of interactions between plants and herbivores, particularly those between goldenrods and their herbivorous insects, restoration ecology. Courses Taught: General Ecology, Biology of the Pacific Northwest, Plant-Animal Interactions, Concepts of Biology, Integrated Environmental Science, Life Science. Recommended advisor for: students interested in ecology, conservation biology, wildlife management, graduate school.
