Education: B.A. in Biology with emphasis in microbiology from St. Cloud State University; Ph.D. in Biology with an emphasis in Microbiology from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.

Research interests: Phototropism and dimorphism in fungi, biology of bacteriophage, insect immunity.

Courses taught: Virology, Microbiology (nursing), Human Biology, Concepts of Biology.

Recommended advisor for: students interested in microbiology and immunology.
