Fine Arts Programming (FAP), via the BAC and other venues on the CSB/SJU campuses, plays a crucial role in helping to bring cultural awareness and an appreciation for diversity to the CSB/SJU and greater St. Cloud communities.

FAP presents a comprehensive series, which brings artists of all disciplines into the Central Minnesota community that might not otherwise have access...providing opportunities for interaction with national and international artists through lectures, master classes, residencies and school performances.

CSB plays a tremendous role in the presentation of dance in the St. Cloud area, which does not contain a professional dance company.

During the past eight seasons CSB has commissioned ten dance works and presented in week-long residencies the following companies: 

• Diavolo--Catapult, Tratectoire, and DreamCatcher;
• Merce Cunningham Dance Company--Split Sides, Views on Stage and the reconstruction of Ocean ( to be presented in 2007);  
• Joe Goode Performance Group--(Grace) ,
• Parsons Dance Company—Too Many Cooks;
• Donald Byrd/The Group—Duke Ellington: In a Different Light;  
• Sean Curran’s Aria/Apology.
