Welcome to the website of the Office of Academic Assessment at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University (CSBSJU).

The Office of Academic Assessment has four primary responsibilities.  First, we provide support and guidance to CSBSJU faculty and staff in the design, implementation, application, and reporting of academic assessment for all credit bearing courses, internships, service learning projects, and undergraduate research programs.  Second, we provide a limited advisiory role to departments and programs undergoing disciplinary program review.  Third, we provide support and guidance to CSBSJU as it prepares for the 2008 re-accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission.  Finally, when time permits, we are pleased to converse with our higher education colleagues around the country and the globe about assessment, accountability, and the improvement of postsecondary teaching and learning.  Please wander through the links to the left and feel free to contact us should you have questions.
