Teaching in Asia

Every year, CSB/SJU graduates head to Asia to teach English as a Second Language.  Some students go through CSB/SJU partner institutions in China and Japan, while others strike out on their own to find different opportunities.  

The Asian Studies Program is pleased to announce this year's list of Teaching in Asia alumnae/i.  All students are from the class of 2009 unless otherwise noted.

Interim Teaching in China

In the summer of 2009, six undergraduate students from Prof. Sophia Geng's May Term course "Economic Development and Social Change in China" stayed in China after the class ended to teach English at Binzhou University in Shandong Province.  These students are:
