Major and Minor Requirements

The CSB/SJU Asian Studies program currently offers an individualized major in Asian Studies and three different Asian Studies minors.  For more information on each, see the links below.

 

Individualized Major in Asian Studies 

-the major is offered under the auspices of the Department of History and the Director of the Asian Studies Program

Minor in General Asian Studies

-this minor is comprised of liberal arts courses, including history, art and art history, philosophy and literature

Minor in Chinese Language

-this minor is offered in conjunction with the Department of Modern and Classical Languages, and requires courses in Chinese language and culture

Minor in Japanese Language

-this minor is offered in conjunction with the Department of Modern and Classical Languages, and requires courses in Japanese language and culture
