Our Mission

With the recent dawning of the “Asian Century,” a new world is being forged through unprecedented East-West interaction. Today’s college students must be able to relate with Asian peoples when they enter the work force of tomorrow.

By providing a broad background in Asian history, culture, society, politics and economics, the Asian Studies Program at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University prepares students to take advantage of the many opportunities the Asian Century will offer.
