FSB5K The Race

Description
The Fighting Saints 5 Kilometer Run/Walk is independently managed by Cadets from the St. John's University, St. Cloud State University, and College of St. Benedict Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC). This event provides the Cadets with a great leadership opportunity as well as raising funds for education, fitness, and charity programs.  The mission of this event is to safely conduct an annual 5K race to develop Cadets, build espirit de corps, and support physical fitness in the community.

Course
The race starts and finishes at the George Durenberger Soccer Field, St. John's University, Collegeville, MN. The route is across relatively flat terrain on the grass, asphalt, and aggregate surfaces of the scenic St. John's University trail system. The occasional hills and curves through the woods should make for an exhilarating 5K run. This race is chip timed with a link to the results at www.pickleevents.com.

Refreshments
There is a water station mid-way through the run, as well as water, drinks, and fruits at the finish.
