Background Information:
Elementary School Trunk Maintenance is a very crucial part of the Saint John’s Arboretum curriculum. There are around 10 trunks consisting of games and activities that relate to the environment and teach various environmental lessons. The trunks are placed in area schools every year so that the teachers can use them in class. At the end of the school year the trunks are taken out of the classroom and brought back to Saint John’s Arboretum. Once at the Arboretum the contents of the trunks are organized and maintained.
If you are interested in volunteering for elementary school trunk maintenance please print out this web page, fill out the information below, and return to the Arboretum offices. We will contact you about training and events.
