Over 100 species of birds have been identified at Saint John's. To aid in providing nesting habitat, several mallard tubes and wood duck houses have been placed throughout the wetlands. If you would like to aid in the upkeep and monitoring of these nesting areas, please contact the arboretum via e-mail (arboretum).
Predator free islands have also been produced for waterfowl with the hay bales shown, bottom right.
