In fall 2007, we are offering a four-session workshop to train formal, non-formal, and pre-service educators to use Projects WET (water), WILD (wildlife), and Learning Tree (forestry/land management). These workshops are designed for and by teachers to familarize participants with this nationally-known environmental education curriculums. During the training, participants will engage in several fun, hands-on indoor and outdoor learning activities appropriate for use with students. Training is geared towards K-8 educators.
Details:
-Sessions will be Tuesday nights from 4:30-7:30 pm on October 23, 30, and November 6, and 13
-Workshops will be held on the campus of Saint John's University, room 146 in New Science Building
Driving Directions
-Dinner is provided the first night, bring your own the second and third nights, and a potluck will be the last night.
-Cost for the workshops is $60 and scholarships are available.
