Wilderness First Aid

Saint John's University will be hosting a Wilderness Advanced First Aid course May 12th to the 16th, 2008. The 5-day course is put on by the Wilderness Medicine Institute of the National Outdoor Leadership School and involves lectures and scenarios. This course is very similar to a First Responder course, but it is only 5 days instead of 10, and it involves less scenarios. The course does include CPR and the certification lasts for 2 years. If you are an avid outdoor enthusiast, this course is highly recommended.

Time: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm everyday

Cost : $295 for Arboretum members and CSB/SJU students and faculty, $325 for nonmembers
