Find the Right Volunteer Opportunity for me

Whether you have a lot of time or just a little, there are ways you can be involved with the CSB/SJU community.  Below is a guide to help you find the volunteer opportunities that match your schedule. 

Under 2 Hours

• Refer a high school student to CSB/SJU.
• Share a story about CSB/SJU with a colleague.
• Be the eyes and ears of CSB/SJU by letting us know about positive/negative comments about the schools in public. 
• Make a gift to CSB/SJU.
• Educate alumnae/i about the importance of giving to CSB/SJU.

2-10 Hours

• Volunteer with CSB/SJU Career Services, participating in such activities as participating on a Career Panel or notifying the office of job/internship opportunities at your company.
• Plan a program in your parish to introduce prospective students to CSB/SJU.
• Bring a prospective student to a Saturday at CSB/SJU.

10-25 Hours

• Participate in the International Friends Program, meeting with an international student from CSB/SJU throughout the year.
• Volunteer with the Donald McNeely Center for Entrepreneurship, participating in activities such as mentoring, guest speaking, advising student clubs, and sharing business expertise.
• Plan a gathering with other Johnnies and Bennies in your area.
• Help introduce CSB/SJU to your community by coordinating a college information night.

25 Hours+

• Apply for a Volunteer Leadership Position.
